Prayer to end Divorce and Restore

Oh Lord, My God, my heart has been ripped into thousands of pieces. The love of my life is seeking to file for divorce. The pain I feel is beyond any I could have imagined.

But You, oh Lord, are my healer. You can restore what the enemy is trying to destroy. You strengthen me at my weakest moments.

It is your will that marriages be sanctified. I pray that you soften the heart of my spouse. Restore the true love of our early relationship. The devil is trying to destroy homes and families, but nothing can separate us from the love of God.

I pray that no weapon formed against me and my family will prosper. Every tongue of lies and deceit that rises up against my family will be cut down. 

In Jesus Holy Name.

Father, we thank You for placing a hedge of thorns around our spouse's minds that hedge up and block their ways of distracting them from you. I pray You block all blaming of the Stander. Block all blaming of the marriage. Block all finger-pointing misleading. Block all false validation they get from these paths that distract them.

We pray a You hedge up the paths that lead them away from You. Paths that lead them to seeking people to make them happy and fulfilled. Paths that lead to material things. Paths that lead to people who mislead and misrepresent Who You are and what You stand for. We pray every path, every lie, every deception is hedged up to where they only have one option, the path that leads them to start looking to You and asking the right questions.

The path to You were healing will happen. The path where lies, strongholds, identity will happen. Where they come into the light, surrender and stop being afraid of failure, afraid of things that are no match for those who trust in Jesus!

We pray every path of shame is exposed. Every lying fear is exposed. Selfish plans, rebellious plans, are all blocked and denied, in JESUS NAME!

We thank You Lord for DEEP healing of areas in our spouses that turned them from You and kept them running to many things they thought could help them. We thank You that Your love covers a multitude of sins and their bad choices and calls them home to You so that You can lead them to repent with a full understanding and heart change.

Breakthrough those walls of thick-headedness. Break down those barriers of mistrust so they can SEE You, Know You, understand You are a GOOD Father and You have never harmed them. Heal their broken places and bring them to You.
